Prenatal class

Growing a human is exhausting. Re-energize with yoga classes specially designed to keep you feeling your best throughout your pregnancy, prepare you for labor, and deepen your bond with baby.

Prenatal class

Your knowledgeable instructor will lead you through a prenatal yoga class specially designed to connect your body and mind, as well as deepen your bond with baby. Plus, prenatal yoga can help to:
  • Improve sleep
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath
  • Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth
  • Meet and bond with other pregnant women and prepare for the stress of being a new parent.

In a typical Prenatal Yoga class at The Nest, you can expect:
  • Breathing: You'll be encouraged to focus on breathing in and out slowly and deeply through the nose. Prenatal yoga breathing techniques might help you reduce or manage shortness of breath during pregnancy and work through contractions during labor.
  • Gentle stretching: You'll be encouraged to gently move different areas of your body, such as your neck and arms, through their full range of motion.
  • Asanas (Postures): While standing, sitting or lying on the ground, you'll gently move your body into different positions aimed at developing your mind/body connection as well as your strength, flexibility and balance. Props — such as blankets and cushions — might be used to provide support and comfort.
  • Cool down and relaxation: At the end of each prenatal yoga class, you'll relax your muscles and restore your resting heart rate and breathing rhythm. You might be encouraged to listen to your own breathing, pay close attention to sensations, thoughts and emotions, or repeat a mantra or word to bring about a state of self-awareness and inner calm.

**NOTE!** Always check with your healthcare provider before you begin any prenatal yoga program.

Our Prenatal Classes are currently held on Fridays at 5:30 PM. You can register for class on our schedule by clicking the button below.

Inversion Workshop

Maybe you've been curious about inversions for a while but aren't sure where to start. Maybe you've taken flight and you're looking for ways to progress. Either way, this is a space to explore.

Over two hours, we'll get into the real stuff: how your body actually works in an inversion, what it needs to feel strong and supported, and how to build from where you are right now. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of your own body and a set of tools you can actually use.

WHEN: FRIday, MAy 22nd | 6:45 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.

Advanced Transitions

If you've been practicing for a while, you know that getting into a pose is one thing. Moving through it with intention, with control, with something that actually feels like flow, is another. This workshop is for those who are ready to go deeper into that in-between space.

We'll break down some of the more technical transitions that show up in an advanced asana practice: floating forward and back, arm balance transitions, and the kind of fluid movement through vinyasa that makes a sequence feel seamless rather than segmented. You'll understand not just the what but the how: the subtle shifts in weight, breath, and body awareness that make these transitions possible.

108 Sun Salutations:
Summer Solstice Practice

A moving meditation to mark the shift into summer. We’ll gather to honor the energy of the changing season: light, expansion, and the invitation to find joy.

In this 90-minute practice, we’ll move through 108 sun salutations together. It’s a traditional sequence used to welcome seasonal transitions, clear stagnant energy, and create space for intention. The repetition becomes rhythmic, breath steadies, mind softens. What starts as a physical challenge often becomes something much deeper.

cost: $30.80 (Member) | $44 (Non-member)

WHEN: Friday, jun 26th | 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The Solar to Lunar Rest: A Collaborative Sound Experience

Sunday carries a bright, outward energy, while Monday invites you inward. This experience supports that shift, helping you transition from movement into stillness as you prepare for the week ahead.

Through gentle breathwork, meditation, and the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and gongs, your nervous system will unwind and settle. You’ll leave feeling grounded, clear, and at ease. Led by Jaime Kline and guest sound healer Siubhan Clark.
