a training that feels like coming home.
become a certified yoga teacher.
OUR NEXT YTT COHORT BEGINS JANUARY 2026. REGISTRATION OPENS TO OUR EARLY ACCESS LIST ON JUNE 20, 2025.
At The Nest, our Yoga Teacher Training isn’t just about learning how to lead a class—it’s a deep, embodied journey of self-discovery, growth, and community. We keep our groups small so every student gets individual attention, support, and space to grow at their own pace. Whether your goal is to become a certified yoga teacher or to deepen your personal practice, our training is built to hold, challenge, and elevate you.
You Will Learn
Our training is designed to develop you as both a skilled yoga teacher and an embodied leader—on and off the mat. You’ll gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to guide others through powerful, grounded, and intentional experiences.
Some of the topics we’ll explore include:
Yoga Philosophy – Ancient wisdom for modern living, including foundational texts, ethics, and the roots of yoga
Intelligent Sequencing & Cueing – How to design effective, creative, and safe classes with purposeful structure
Anatomy & Alignment – Understand the body in motion to teach with clarity, confidence, and care
Creating Authentic Class Environments – Tools for holding space, building trust, and teaching from the heart
The Business of Yoga – Learn how to navigate your path as a teacher in a sustainable and aligned way
Intentional Living – Embody the teachings of yoga beyond the mat through our Living In Season approach to cyclical wellness
You’ll graduate with a strong foundation in teaching, a deeper understanding of yourself and your practice, and the ability to step confidently into your own voice as a teacher.

A 200-hour YTT is a comprehensive program designed to deepen your understanding of yoga—from movement and anatomy to philosophy and teaching. It's the foundational training recognized by Yoga Alliance and the first step toward becoming a certified yoga instructor.
-
This training is for anyone craving a deeper connection to themselves and their practice. Whether you dream of teaching or simply want to learn more about yoga and intentional living, this program is for you. No perfect poses or prior certifications required—just a willingness to show up and grow.
-
Nope! You do not need to be advanced in your physical practice or have teaching experience. This training is designed to meet you where you are and help you build a strong foundation—from the ground up.
-
That’s totally okay. Many people take YTT for personal growth. You'll deepen your practice, cultivate self-awareness, and learn to live more intentionally—whether or not you ever step in front of a class.
-
Students are allowed to miss up to one full weekend (17 hours) without penalty. Beyond that, additional missed hours must be made up through private sessions with a lead instructor at a rate of $100/hour. If over 34 hours are missed, even with make-ups, certification becomes ineligible.
-
Each weekend blends learning, movement, and connection. Expect a mix of flow-based yoga practices, lectures on yoga philosophy, sequencing and anatomy, hands-on workshops, and time for group discussion and reflection.
-
Because we reserve your spot and provide access to all materials, we do not offer refunds for students who do not complete the training—whether due to missed hours, relocation, personal circumstances, or failure to meet graduation requirements.
Requests to transfer tuition to a future training will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
-
You’ll complete 130 hours in person over eight weekends, 40 hours of remote, self-paced learning, and 30 hours of in-studio yoga class participation. Expect to dedicate additional time for readings, journaling, and self-reflection between weekends.
-
Yes! Graduates who complete all requirements and pass the final evaluations will be eligible to register as a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance and start teaching right away.
-
Yoga meets you where you are. You don’t need to be super fit or flexible to begin—you just need to be open. That said, this program is physically and emotionally demanding, so we encourage checking in with a healthcare provider if you have any concerns.
