Elena is an advanced-level teacher with training in both Hatha and Power Yoga. She also specializes in functional movement and corrective exercise. She has an energetic style and brings enthusiasm to each and every class she leads. Elena's passion lies in allowing students to gain the most out of their experience physically and mentally, leaving students feeling energized, invigorated, and at peace. Elena has taught all age groups and her teaching encourages students to develop their own personal practice to gain the full benefits of yoga.

When not teaching or practicing, she can be found lifting weights and running (mostly after her three kids and two dogs), reading, studying biomechanics, or enjoying precious time with family and friends.

    Kimber Brenneman, PhD, CYT-500

Kimber has been practicing yoga since 2008 and teaching since 2014. She began practicing after having surgery to reconstruct a torn ACL. It proved to be incredibly helpful in restoring her full knee flexion and gave her a special interest in yoga for those with injuries. She practices yoga because it focuses her mind, gets her out of her head, and keeps her body feeling good. Kimber loves teaching alignment focused Beginner Yoga, all levels of Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Restorative, Gentle, Yin, arm balances, inversions, and partner yoga. Her absolute favorite way to take her yoga practice off the mat and into the air is by practicing and teaching AcroYoga. Kimber is a certified Thai Bodywork practitioner with additional training in trigger point therapy. She offers therapeutic workshops and one on one sessions. Her mission is to help people cultivate better communication with themselves and others in a joyful way.

  • This training is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their connection to yoga, community, and self. It covers yoga philosophy, history, asana, meditation, spirituality, anatomy, and personal development.

  • Some yoga experience is recommended, but the training is foundational. We welcome all levels as long as you are passionate about self-improvement and learning.

  • Many take the training for personal growth and community experience. You'll gain a deeper connection to yourself and a comprehensive understanding of yoga, even if you don't plan to teach.

  • To graduate and register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200, you need 200 hours. You can miss one weekend (16.5 hours) but must make up additional hours if you miss more than 21 hours. Missing over 33 hours means ineligibility for graduation.

Students not eligible to graduate will not be able to become a certified yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance or through our training. If there is a possibility you will not be present and able to attend all of the training sessions ready to learn then we don’t recommend this training.
