The Bali Retreat
An immersive experience rooted in ritual, movement, and presence, set in the lush landscapes and spiritual heart of Ubud.
This retreat is centered on the practice of embodying joy. Through daily movement practices, intentional ritual, time in nature, and shared community, this week is an invitation to soften, open, and remember what it feels like to feel alive in your own body.
Our retreats are intentionally designed to allow for deep transformation and meaningful connection. We keep them intimate on purpose so every participant feels supported, seen, and truly held throughout the journey. Because of this, space is limited and our retreats consistently sell out.
For this experience in Ubud, availability is limited. We recommend securing your spot early to ensure you don’t miss this unforgettable experience.

Welcome to Dwa Chandra, a luxury jungle sanctuary tucked into the lush landscape of Ubud.
This is not a hotel. It is a private retreat compound designed for restoration and ceremony. Multiple yoga shalas, including a glass enclosed jungle shala and open air spaces, overlook the trees. Luxurious private pools are woven into the property, offering quiet places to cool off, float, and rest between practices.
Private paths wind through the grounds, leading to a secluded river gorge and ancient caves. The sounds of water, birds, and breeze become part of the experience.
A dedicated local hospitality team including chefs, housekeepers, and concierge staff will care for you throughout the week. Outside of our shared meals, the chef team is available throughout the day for fresh juices, coffee, tea, and additional food, allowing you to fully exhale and settle in.
This space is expansive yet intimate. Wild yet refined. A place where beauty, nature, and comfort exist in balance.
I’ve guided hundreds of students through yoga practices and immersive retreats, centered on guiding people into deeper connection with themselves, each other, and the natural world.
For me, retreats are about creating space: space to breathe, to move, to feel deeply, and to rediscover joy. Marrakesh has been calling for years, and I can’t wait to share the energy, beauty, and richness of Morocco with you.
This is Your Invitation

Secure your spot early and join us in Ubud for a week you will never forget.
Yoga is a deeply personal experience that meets you where you are. Our retreats are designed for all levels, from total beginners to seasoned practitioners. Classes will include options and modifications so you can practice in a way that feels right for you.
Yes. While we have a thoughtful schedule of practices, ceremonies, and group excursions, we’ve intentionally built in spacious afternoons and open windows throughout the week. You’ll have time to rest by the pool, explore Ubud’s cafés and shops, walk the jungle paths on property, or simply do nothing at all.
Because retreats require advance planning and upfront costs, all payments are non-refundable. That said, your spot can be transferred to another person. If you can no longer attend, we’ll do our best on our end to help find someone to fill your spot so that you can be reimbursed.
Yes! We’ll collect dietary information after booking and make sure our chef and restaurant partners are aware. Please let us know your needs so we can plan accordingly.
Closer to the retreat, we’ll send a detailed packing guide. Plan for breathable clothing for warm, humid weather, comfortable walking shoes, a light layer for evenings, swimwear, and modest attire for temple visits. And of course, an open mind.
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali. Round trip airport transportation to and from the retreat center is included.
U.S. travelers can typically obtain a Visa on Arrival for stays up to 30 days in Indonesia. We will send guidance on this process as we get closer.
Yes. Bali, and especially Ubud, is very accustomed to international travelers and is widely considered safe. As with any travel, basic awareness is important. All retreat transportation and group excursions are organized. Because Bali is tropical, we recommend bringing insect repellent and taking simple mosquito precautions. You may also encounter monkeys near temples. They are used to visitors but should not be touched or fed. We’ll provide guidance during excursions.
There are no vaccines required for entry into Indonesia. However, the CDC recommends that travelers are up to date on all routine vaccinations and boosters recommended in the United States. For travel to Bali, including Ubud, the CDC also commonly recommends Hepatitis B and Typhoid vaccines. Additional recommendations can vary based on your personal health history and travel plans. We strongly encourage you to consult your doctor or a travel clinic well in advance of departure.
Private double occupancy rooms must be booked together as a pair. If you’re traveling solo and prefer not to book a private single room, our common room options are a beautiful and budget friendly way to join the retreat and connect with others.
